JeanModeratorCurieuse information.

Ubisoft won’t be releasing its high-profile PC games on Steam in the UK this month.
PCGamesN reports that Ubisoft will not be releasing Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Far Cry 4 or The Crew on Valve’s service, although they will be available on Steam in all other regions.
“We’ve been in discussions with Valve about Assassin’s Creed Unity but for the time being the game is not available via Steam in the UK,” Ubisoft said.
“In the meantime, UK customers wishing to purchase the game digitally can do so by visiting the uPlay store, our retail partners or other digital distributors.”
The result of which will be higher prices – £49.99, specifically, although other retailers outside of Ubisoft’s own uPlay will likely sell for less. You can still expect many gamers to turn to PC key strippers for significant discounts, however.
PCGamesN speculates that price may be the sticking issue with Steam, in fact, as the service typically maxes out at £39.99, although many new triple-A releases will launch at £25-£35.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be released on November 13th, Far Cry 4 on November 20th and The Crew on December 2nd.
